Neupharma’s mission is to contribute to improving the health and well-being of people around the world through the continuous development and stable supply of high-quality pharmaceuticals.

Neupharma also plays an important role in advancing patient-centered healthcare and must help lead the realization of a sustainable society.

To fulfill this mission, Neupharma shall comply with applicable laws and regulations, international rules, and the spirit thereof, both domestically and internationally. Guided by the following principles of conduct, we shall act with the highest ethical standards and fulfill our social responsibilities.

1. Sustainable Economic Growth and Solutions to Social Challenges

We engage in the research and development of innovative medicines that contribute to the advancement of healthcare and strive to provide high-quality pharmaceuticals with superior efficacy and safety as promptly and consistently as possible.
As a company supporting industries that foster innovation, we contribute to economic growth and efficiency by developing safe, high-quality medicines that address evolving healthcare needs.

2. Scientifically Sound and Rigorous Research and Development

Clinical trials shall be conducted with the cooperation of medical institutions, with full respect for the human rights of participants, careful attention to their safety, and in a scientifically rigorous manner. Animal studies required as non-clinical testing shall be carried out with due consideration for animal welfare. In applying for marketing authorization of pharmaceuticals, we shall appropriately handle data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, internal rules, and principles of scientific validity.

13. Role of Top Management and Implementation of This Charter

Management shall recognize that realizing the principles of this Charter is its own responsibility. By leading through example, management shall ensure that these principles are thoroughly implemented throughout the company and its group companies, and shall also encourage business partners to uphold them. Furthermore, management shall continuously listen to both internal and external voices and establish effective governance systems.
In the event of conduct contrary to the spirit of this Charter that results in a loss of public trust, management shall take the initiative in resolving the issue, investigating its causes, preventing recurrence, fulfilling its responsibilities, and restoring trust.
